Rules;;General;;
[x] Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation are required. I understand that no one is perfect when it comes to this, but we ask you to try your hardest with this. Also, absolutely NO chat-speak. (i.e. dnt tlk lyk dis) It bugs the hell out of me, and I will absolutely NOT tolerate it in ANY way, shape, or form. Talking like that is like digging your own grave; in which I will happily bury you. :)
[x] In Character posts must have a word count of one hundred and fifty at minimum. However, writer's block is understandable, so, leave a note of it at the end of the post and we'll let you slide with a hundred words. Out Of Character posts must be at least twenty-five words long to post. I don't want my boards flooded with meaningless posts.
[x] Cursing, cussing, and swearing is allowed. Deal with it or leave.
[x] Insulting of the Neon Zebra will not be tolerated at all. We love Chooey, and he loves us. Don't love him? Get over it.
[x] If you are having issues with another member, please consult a member of Staff. Do not try to handle it on your own. Chances are, you'll only make things worse; on them and you.
[x] Do not ask to be part of the Staff. If positions are open, I will either contact you or there will be an announcement on the boards and a form you can send to one of the Administrators. Asking when no positions are open will only result in annoying the Staff Member to which you've asked, and will most likely reduce your chances of ever becoming a member of Staff, should a position open.
[x] Be respectful to the Staff, members, and yes, even the guests. And Guests, I expect the same from you. Breaking of this rule will not be tolerated.
In Character;;
[x] No Power Playing or Godmoding, unless given explicit permission. Power Playing is taking control of another user's character. Godmoding is making your character invincible. Technically, it involves invincibility and somewhat god-like powers. But, since most of the people here have powers, we've had to redefine said term. Breaking of this rule will not be tolerated.
Out Of Character;;
[x] Again, at least twenty-five words in every Out Of Character post you make. I don't like meaningless posts.
[x] Once again, be respectful to anyone and everyone on the site. I'm not saying you have to like them, I'm just saying you have to tolerate them.
[x] Do not over flow role play posts with Out Of Character messages.
Character Limits And Expectations;;
[x] Yes, odd colors and jewelry on the animals are allowed. However, I want at least one normal color for every two odd colors on a single creature's pelt. I don't want neon colored zebras who have no other colors to tone down the brightness running around. Chooey is the only exception.
[x] Powers and wings are allowed. Wings are allowed with permission. No, your first character cannot have wings. If you wish to have a character like that, you have to prove yourself responsible enough to handle it. If you believe yourself responsible enough for one, you may ask a staff member, and after consulting me (if you've not gone directly to me) and all other administrators, we will decide on whether or not you may have one. Sometimes, we may reward members with them if we think they can handle them. However, if these characters are abused they can and will be taken away.
[x] When a character speaks, please put it in between "quotes" and bold it, with their thoughts italicized. This helps better tell the two apart from the other, so as not to confuse others.
[x] Liquid Time is allowed, but I'd prefer to keep it down to three posts at most. For those of you who don't know what that is, Liquid Time is having a single character in two or more places at once.
[x] After creating your character, it would help us out a lot if you would sign up for a room as soon as possible. If you have not requested a room within a week, one of the Administrators will assign you one.
[x] You are allowed as many characters as you can handle, though if a Staff Member or I see that you are unable to handle them, we will ask you to either get rid of a few (through either adoption or death), or figure out a way to handle them.
Breeding, Fighting, Ranks, And Cliques;;
[x] Force breeding and rape is allowed, though offspring is optional. Both users must be in agreement for offspring to occur, but permission is not needed for force breeding or rape. Though feel free to ask first if you want.
[x] Graphic breeding of any kind is allowed, but please put a warning of some sort (i.e. "Explicit", "Warning!", "Rated R".)
[x] Characters can have anywhere between one and twelve offspring. A member of Staff will generate the offspring's outcome; however, suggestions on how the offspring turn out can be made, though will not necessarily be used.
[x] During fights, you must have the other user's permission to kill their character, though it is not required to wound or seriously injure them.
[x] Large scale fights must be monitored by a Staff Member to make sure no participant of the fight has broken a rule, and to make sure the outcome is fair.
[x] Characters can fight for every rank in the Cliques, except for Leader. Fights for higher ranks must be Staff monitored.
[x] When creating your character, there is a section there for stating your Clique and rank. You may put the name of the Clique your character is in, but their rank must start out as a subordinate. Their rank may change over time, and a Staff Member will go back and change it in that character's profile once they've been notified of the change.
